Felicia Curran is a lawyer in Oakland California, with a focus on protecting the rights of elderly and disabled persons, and their families. She became interested in the elder abuse area of the law when her mother developed a Stage 4 bedsore in a hospital. Because of the bed sore, her mother had to spend 2 months in a nursing home, before she was able to return home after the bed sore healed.
